by | Oct 29, 2016 | 1 comment

On Thursday, 20 October 2016 we hosted Hans Pietersen from OGOD (Organisasie vir Godsdienste-Onderrig en Demokrasie) who gave us an update on the ongoing legal case which fights for equal treatment of all pupils’ religious views in public schools in South Africa.

Background: OGOD is taking various schools and ministers to task for allowing the suppression of scientific and cultural knowledge, religious coercion and abuse of learners’ rights in public schools and Hans has been involved with this matter since 2008, when his own children (triplets) started going to school.

You can contact OGOD by sending them an email at ogod.org.za@gmail.com, or by connecting with them on Facebook.

Their website is ogod.org.za.
